REFURBISHMENTS
This year we have decided to refurb and update several of our student properties. Updating them as much as possible not only ensures they are let but also encourages good tenants who will look after the property.
This summer we have decided to refurbish three of our properties in between tenancies. Take a look below at some of our work and the differences it can make!!
NEWFOUNDLAND ROAD
July 2018
This year we have decided to refurb a large portion of one of our first student properties. This property was actually the landlords home at one point and it has been a big decision to change the majority of it! The refurb was started on July 2nd, to be completed and cleaned by the tenants move-in date of the 16th July!
There were no major issues with this project, work was completed on Saturday 14th July and the new tenants are over the moon with the changes!
FLAXLAND AVENUE
July 2018
This property was one of our most old-fashioned but is located in a sought after area.
After finally having an opportunity where the tenants were happy to delay their move in date we decided to refurbish the kitchen, utility and bathroom completely and update the hallway.
Work on this project is still on-going but completion is the end of the month.
There have been a few hiccups in this property due to its age, although we have managed to overcome them and still remain on track for the tenants move in date!
WYEVERNE ROAD
July 2018
The kitchen layout for this property was not spacious enough for five tenants and had become very old and tired, so we decided to upgrade it!
New kitchen and layout along with brand new spotlights to make the room much brighter!
